With or without drams - you'll sleep well!

In August 2022 we started with a very spacious double room in our main house.

  • 16 sqm room with sea view of Loch Kirbister &  of Waulkmill Bay on the ground floor.
  • Super king size double bed (180*200 cm) and 2 single duvets (150*220 cm) - the foot end is open - as a 1.94 man I appreciate that ;-) Normal and neck pillows to choose from. Of course incl. bed linen
  • Lightproof roller blinds

  • 2 USB Points on each bedside

  • 2x 2 towels
  • Kettle for tea & coffee
  • Mineral water with and without gas, home-baked biscuits & chocolate
  • En suite with shower, complimentary toiletries, hairdryer, heated towel rail
  • Central Heating, which can be self adjusted
  • hot water bottles if required
  • Large, private parking space
  • WLAN and fibre optic internet (approx. 50mbps down and 18mbps upload)! 
  • no TV!
  • Full Scottish Breakfast (hot) or various alternatives to choose from
  • Just selfmade Orkney Photos on the walls

We are a non-smoking BNB and ask you to respect this. There are various possibilities to smoke in front of the house.

If you want to come with more than 2 people, we can recommend our neighbours Marlyn & Robbie within shouting distance. There are another 4 beds in 2 rooms available as self-catering: Summerdale Self Catering

In addition, our other two neighbours Margaret & Raymond have 2 double rooms to let as BNB and 3 other flats with 3, 4 or 6 beds: Foinhaven B&B and Selfcatering

Im August 2022 sind wir mit einem sehr geräumigen Doppelzimmer bei uns im Haupthaus gestartet.

  • Super-King-Size Doppelbett (180*200 cm) und 2 einzelnen Bettdecken (150*220 cm) - das Fuss-Ende ist offen - als 1,94 Mann weiß ich das zu schätzen ;-) Normale und Nackenkissen zur Auswahl. Selbstverständlich inkl. Bettwäsche

  • Lichtdichtes Fenster Rollo
  • Je 2 USB-Ladepunkte auf jeder Bettseite
  • 2x 2 Handtücher
  • Wasserkocher für Tee & Kaffee
  • Mineralwasser (mit und ohne Kohlensäure), selbstgebackene Kekse & Schokolade
  • En suite Bad mit Dusche, kostenlose Pflegeprodukte, Föhn, beheizter Handtuchhalter

  • Zentralheizung, die selber eingestellt werden kann

  • Wärmflaschen bei Bedarf
  • großer, privater Parkplatz
  • WLAN und Glasfaser Internet (ca. 50mbps Down- und 18mbps Upload)!

Wir sind ein Nichtraucher BNB und bitten das auch zu respektieren. Es gibt diverse Möglichkeiten vorm Haus zu rauchen.

Solltet Ihr mit mehr als 2 Personen kommen wollen, können wir noch unsere Nachbarn Marlyn & Robbie in Rufweite empfehlen. Dort stehen noch mal 4 Schlafplätze auf 2 Zimmer verteilt als Selfcatering zur Verfügung: Summerdale Self Catering

Zudem haben unsere anderen beiden Nachbarn Margaret & Raymond 2 Doppelzimmer als BNB und 3 weitere Appartements mit 3, 4 oder 6 Betten zu vermieten: Foinhaven B&B and Selfcatering
